Application Form
The application form for the VITEEE 2026 was released in October 2025, and it is going to be available on the official website until March 31, 2026.
The application form for the foreign residents will start soon, most probably in early March 2026, and the deadline will be the same as the one mentioned above.

Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the first stage of VIT BTech Admission 2026, which is VITEEE, it is mandatory that you meet the eligibility criteria set by officials.
- The VITEEE 2026 is available for all the students who are interested in getting admission for any BTech course at VIT, whether they are residents of India or not.
- You must have passed the Intermediate exam or equivalent with a science stream; PCB is required for biotechnology courses, and PCM for all other courses. If you are going to appear in the Class 12 Exam in 2026, you can apply to participate in this VITEEE.
- It is mandatory that the applicant’s date of birth (DOB) not be before July 1, 2004.
The minimum requirement in the qualifying examination is a 60% score as an aggregate; in a specific subject (mathematics or biology), a student must have achieved at least a 50% score.
SC, ST, and students of UT of Jammu & Kashmir and northeastern states need only a 50% aggregate score as well as the specific subject.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the VITEEE 2026, the payment of the application fee is mandatory. An Indian applicant is required to deposit the amount of ₹1,350; the same for the foreign resident is US$90.
The application fee can be paid using the debit card or credit card. But the Indian applicant will have two additional options, which are UPI and NET banking.
Exam Pattern
The VITEEE 2026 will be held in CBT mode, in which there will be a total number of 125 MCQs from five different sections:
- Biology/Biology: 40
- Physics: 35
- Chemistry: 35
- English: 5
- Aptitude: 10
To touch the maximum number of questions, you will have a time duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. Each question carries a weightage of 4 marks, and in case of an incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted.
The medium of this entrance examination will be only English, and no mark is going to be awarded or deducted for the unanswered questions.

- Enter your name, date of birth, gender, residential status, mobile number and email address, and then click the Register button.
- Log in with your email address and password.
- Fill in the application form with educational qualifications and basic details about yourself.
- Upload documents in the required size and format; you also have to attach a photograph and signature.
- Deposit the application fee, and review your application form. Click the Submit button after verifying if all details are accurate.
