The OU, Hyderabad is all set to conduct TG LAWCET 2026 for the aspirants seeking admission for three-year and five-year Bachelor’s of Law in government and private law colleges of Telangana for academic year 2026-27.

The Telangana Law Common Entrance Test 2026 will take place across the state at various examination centres; like every year, thousands of aspirants across the state are going to participate in this entrance examination in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria 

The TG LAWCET 2026 eligibility criteria is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

Course Criteria 
Educational Qualification Age Limit 
3-Year LLB Bachelor’s degree in any subject or stream from an institution recognised by the University Grant Commission or All India Council of Technical Education.There is no age limit to apply for the Telangana Law Common Entrance Test 2026.
5-Year LLBIntermediate with Science, Commerce, Arts or Vocational from a school recognised by the Telangana Board of School Education or Central Board of Secondary Education.

The requirement in the qualifying exam for UR/BC and SC/ST/PH is 45% and 40% score as aggregate, respectively.

The TG LAWCET 2026 application fee can be made public using the debit/credit card, NET banking or UPI. It is not refundable, you won’t get a refund under any circumstances after paying it.

Exam Pattern 

The TG LAWCET 2026 will be held in computer-based test with an exam time duration of 90 minutes. There will be a total number of 120 objective-type questions from different sections:

Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark, and no mark will be deducted for incorrect response. The medium of this entrance examination is going to be English, Telugu and Urdu.

  • Login with the Acknowledgement Number and Date of Birth, and then start filling the application.
  • Enter your mobile number, email address, and other details and go to the upload section.
  • Upload your photograph, signature and other required documents, and click on the Submit button.
