TG Gurukulam Admission 2026: TGCET Date, Eligibility Criteria, Application Fee

The Telangana residential educational societies have released the notification for the TG Gurukulam Admission 2026. Like every academic year, for 2026-27, the admission will be done through the entrance examination. 

The application form filling for the CET for the admission in residential educational institutions comes under the TGSWREI, TGTWREI, MJPTBCWREI and TREI societies for the academic year 2026–27 is already taking place.

The TGSWREI, TGTWREI, and MJPTBCWREI societies offer admission only for Class 5 to 9; but TREI society only for the class 5. Here, we have discussed all about the admission. Read this article for important dates, eligibility criteria, application fee and much more.

TG Gurukulam Admission 2026 Overview 

Students who what get admission for Class 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 of any institute of  TGSWREI, TGTWREI, MJPTBCWREI or TREI Society for academic year 2026-27 may apply to sit in the exam, which is first stage of the admission process. Refer to the table below for an overview.

Application Fee

In order to apply for the TG Gurukulam Admission 2026, the payment of the application fee is mandatory. Each individual is required to deposit the amount of 100 rupees.

The application fee must be paid by the official due date, you can pay the required amount using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI.

Exam Pattern 

The TGCET 2026 will be held in offline mode using the OMR sheet, in which there will be a total of 100 MCQs from different subjects for each class; the details about it are available inside the table.

Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark and no mark will be deducted for incorrect response. To solve the maximum number of MCQs, each student will have a time duration of 2 hours; and the medium of the exam will be English and Telugu.

The applying procedure for the TG Gurukulam Admission 2026 are as follows.

  • Firstly you have to make an application fee payment and get the valid login credentials.
  • Login with acknowledgement number, date of payment and the date of birth.
  • Fill in the application form and upload the required documents with photograph and signature.
  • Review all the details you have provided and click on the Submit button to apply online.
