TG EdCET 2026
The Telangana Education Common Entrance Test 2026 is state-level entrance exam, which is all set to be held by the Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of TGCHE to provide admission for two-year BEd for the session 2026-28.
The TG EdCET 2026 will be held across Telangana at multiple exam centres so candidates from even a remote area can apply and participate in this entrance examination. Like every year, thousands of students will take part in 2026 too.

Eligibility Criteria
The TG EdCET 2026 eligibility criteria are listed below. Go through it to check if you are eligible to apply for this exam.
- You are an Indian citizen and reside in Telangana.
- Your age shouldn’t be below 19 years as of July 1, 2026.
- You have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in any subject or stream from an institution recognised by the AICTE/UGC.
You must have at least 50% score as aggregate in the qualifying degree, 5% relaxation is given to individuals who belong to SC, ST and PH.
Application Fee
The TG EdCET 2026 application fee details are made public. Each candidate is required to pay an amount to apply for this entrance exam, which depends on one’s category. The details about it can be found from the table below.

You can pay with the help of debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI. The application fee is non-refundable, which means under any circumstances the paid amount won’t be refunded.
Exam Pattern
The TG EdCET 2026 will take place in online mode, it will be held using the CBT with an exam time duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. A total number of 150 objective-type questions will be asked from eight different sections, which are as follows:

Each question in this entrance examination carries a weightage of 1 mark, and no mark will be deducted for incorrect response. The medium of the TG EdCET 2026 is English and Telugu, except for the language Sections.
