Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the TG DEECET 2026, it is mandatory that you meet the eligibility criteria. Refer to listed points to check if you are eligible.
- You are an Indian citizen and you live in Telangana.
- You have passed the Class 12 Exam with any stream from a school recognised by the BSE Telangana or CBSE.
- You must be atleast 17 years old as of August 1, 2026.
Notes:
- There is no upper age limit to apply for the TG DEECET 2026.
- The minimum requirement in Intermediate examination is 50% score as aggregate for OC/BC, the same for SC/ST is only 45%.
- Students who are going to participate in Class 12 Exam in 2026 are also eligible.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the TG DEECET 2026, the payment of the application fee is mandatory. Whether you belong to any category, you need to deposit 500 rupees. You can pay it using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI.
Exam Pattern
The School Education Department, Government of Telangana will conduct the TG DEECET 2026 in online mode. It will be administered with time duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes, questions will be from the following subjects:

Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark, and no mark is going to be deducted for incorrect response. The medium of this entrance exam will be English and Telugu or Urdu, expect for language section.
