NERIST NEE 2026: Exam Date, Apply Online, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern 

The NERIST Entrance Examination is an admission test conducted once a year by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology in three different levels to provide admission to various undergraduate and certificate courses.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the NERIST NEE 2026 are available below for offered certificate and UG courses. Refer to the table below to check details for each level of the NEE.

If you are in the final year or semester of qualifying examination, you are eligible to participate in the NERIST NEE 2026.

Application Fee

In order to apply for the NERIST NEE 2026, you have to deposit the application fee. If you belong to UR, OBC or EWS, you have to deposit ₹1,500; individuals who belong to SC, ST and PwBD categories need to pay only ₹1,000.

Exam Pattern 

The NERIST NEE 2026 will be held in offline mode with an exam time duration of 3 hours. Refer to the table below to check the number of questions, marking scheme and maximum marks for the course.

The negative marking is applicable, in case of incorrect response, 25% of the question weightage will be deducted; and the medium of this entrance examination is English only.

How to Apply?

In order to apply for the NERIST NEE 2026, please follow the step-by-step instructions available below.

  • Visit the official website NERIST Entrance Examination by providing at https://neeonline.ac.in/.
  • Click on the Apply Online button x and register online and create your login ID and password.
  • Log in and select the entrance examination level, which is NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III.
  • Fill in personal details carefully, and enter academic qualifications as per eligibility.
  • Choose the reservation category and examination centre, and upload passport-size photographs and signatures.
  • Pay the application fee, verify all details, and click on the Submit button to apply online.
