Application Form
In order to apply for the MHT CET 2026, the application form is available at https://cetcell.mahacet.org/. Note that your application form will be accepted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, only if they find you are eligible to sit in it.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for participating in the MHT CET 2026 are made public, refer to table below for all details.
- You are an Indian citizen, and you reside in Maharashtra, and
- You have passed the Class 12 Exam with PCB or PCM from a school recognised by the MSBSHSE with a 45% score as aggregate.
Notes:
- There is no cap of lower or upper age limit to participate in the MHT CET 2026.
- The minimum requirement in qualifying examination for the reserved candidates is only 40% score as aggregate.
- Students who will sit in the Intermediate exam in 2026 may apply and participate.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the MHT CET 2026, the payment of the application fee is mandatory. The payable amount differs from one another for different category aspirants, the table below helps you understand what you need to pay.

Exam Pattern
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra will conduct the MHT CET 2026 in online mode using the computer-based test. A total of 150 MCQs and 200 MCQs will be asked in the entrance exam for PCM and PCB, respectively, from different subjects, whose details are:

Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark, except for the Mathematics (it carries a weightage of 2 marks), and there is no provision of negative marking. To solve the paper, each individual will get a time duration of 3 hours, and the exam medium will be English only.
