Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for the MAH MCA CET 2026 are listed below, go through the following points to find out if you can apply for this entrance exam.
- You are an Indian citizen and live in Maharashtra, and
- You have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognised by the UGC.
Notes:
- There is no age cap to participate in the Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test 2026.
- It is mandatory to have secured at least 50% score in the qualifying exam; reserved category candidates need 45% score.
- The applicant must have studied Mathematics at Intermediate or Graduation level.
- Reservation rules are applicable only to the candidates of Maharashtra.
Application Fee
The application fee payment is mandatory to apply for the MAH MCA CET 2026. A candidate is required to deposit the amount of 1,200 rupees; individuals who belong to reserved category need to deposit only 1,000 rupees.
It is mandatory that you deposit the application fee by the due date set by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. You can pay it using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI; without it your application won’t be processed.
Exam Pattern
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra will conduct the MAH MCA CET 2026 in CBT mode, there will be a total number 100 MCQs in this entrance exam from four different subjects, the details are:

To touch all MCQs asked in this entrance exam, you will have a time duration of 90 minutes, PwBD candidates will get an extra timing of 30 minutes.
Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark and no mark is deducted for incorrect response, and the medium of the exam is going to be English and Marathi.
