Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for the MAH HM CET 2026 are as follows, go through the listed points to check if you are eligible to apply for this entrance exam.
BHMCT (UG):
- Your are Indian citizen.
- You have passed the Class 12 Exam with English as language subject from a recognised board with atleast 45% (40% for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD categories) score as aggregate.
- There in no age limit.
MHMCT (PG):
- You are an Indian citizen.
- You have pursued Bachelor’s in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HMCT) with atleast 50% (45% for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD categories) score as aggregate.
- There is no age limit.
If you are going to participate in Class 12 Exam for academic year 2025-27, you may apply for UG programme; and aspirants in the final year or semester of the BHMCT may apply for PG programme, but have to show marksheet in the CAP.
Application Fee
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra has announced the MAH HM CET 2026 application fee. Refer to table below to check what you need to deposit to apply online for this entrance exam.

The application fee for the non-resident of Maharashtra is same as UR. You can pay it online using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI. It is non-refundable, which means you won’t get payable amount in any case.
Exam Pattern
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra will conduct the MAH HM CET 2026 in online mode with an exam time duration of 90 minutes, PwBD candidates will get extra timing of 30 minutes.

Each question carries a weightage of 2 marks, and no mark is going to be deducted for incorrect response. The medium of this entrance examination is going to be English and Marathi.
