JENPAS UG 2026: Exam Date, Apply Online, Eligibility Criteria, Test Pattern 

The Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Sciences – Undergraduate is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board to provide admission to nursing, paramedical, and allied health sciences programmes.

If you are seeking admission to any undergraduate paramedical, nursing, or allied science course in a college in West Bengal for the year 2026-27, you will have to participate in this entrance examination. JENPAS UG 2026 Overview 

The WBJEE Board will soon release the notification for the JENPAS UG 2026 and then the application form will be available for four weeks at https://wbjeeb.nic.in/. Refer to table below for an overview of this entrance examination.

Notes:

  • Candidates who are going to participate in the Class 12 Exam for the academic year 2025-26 are also eligible.
  • The cut-off date to calculate the age is December 31, 2025; the upper age relaxation is applicable 3 years for OBC, and 5 years for SC and ST candidates.
  • It is mandatory that you get at least a 45% score in the Intermediate Exam from a school recognised by the WBCHSE or CBSE.
  • For the GNM, the minimum requirement in the Class 12 Exam is only 40% score as aggregate.

Application Fee 

In order to apply for the JENPAS UG 2026, it is mandatory that you pay the application fee. Refer to the table below to check what you need to deposit to apply.

The application fee is non-refundable, it can be deposited using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI.

Exam Pattern 

The WBJEE Board will conduct the JENPAS UG 2026 in offline mode. It will be using the OMR sheets. There will be a total number of 100 questions from five different subjects, whose details are available inside the table.

The question-type is objective i.e., there will be four options for each question, out of which only one is true. For each correct response, 1 mark will be alloted, and in case of the incorrect answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted. 

To solve the maximum number of questions in this entrance examination, each one will have a duration of 2 hours, and the medium will be English.

How to Apply?

In order to apply for the JENPAS UG 2026, please go through the step-by-step instructions available below.

  • Go to the official website of the WBJEE Board.
  • Tap on the ‘JENPAS-UG’ under the option of Examinations.
  • Click on the ‘New Registration’ button.
  • Fill in your mobile number, email address, and other details and click on the ‘Get OTP’ button.
  • Enter the OTPs received on your email address and mobile number and click on the Submit button.
  • Back to the login page, and enter your email address and password (DOB), and click the Login button.
  • Fill in your personal and educational qualification details, and attach documents with photograph and signature.
  • Pay the application fee using the opted payment gateway, and click on the Submit button to apply.
