The Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test is a national-level entrance examination conducted annually to provide admission to five-year IPM to various participating Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other institutions across the country.

The Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test 2026 will be held by the IIM Indore for the aspirants seeking admission for the five-year Integrated Programme in Management for the academic year 2026-27 at participating IIMs and other institutions.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for the IPMAT 2026 to be held by the IIM Indore are as follows, go through the listed points to check if you are eligible.
- You are an Indian citizen.
- You have passed the Intermediate (Class 12) Exam with any stream from a recognised board with 60% (50% for ST, SC and PwBD categories) score as aggregate in year 2024 or year 2025
- You shouldn’t be above 20 years as of August 1, 2026. The age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for SC, ST and PwBD.
Students who are going to participate in Class 12 Exam for the academic year 2025-26 are also eligible.
Application Fee
The payment of the application fee is mandatory to apply for the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test 2026, to be held by IIM Indore. Refer to the table below to check what you need to pay to apply for this entrance exam.

The application fee for the IMPAT 2026 can be paid online. It is not refundable, which means after paying it, you won’t get a refund even if you later change your mind to sit in this entrance exam.
Exam Pattern
The IIM Indore will conduct the IPMAT 2026 in online mode using the computer-based test. It will take a time duration of 120 minutes.
There will be 90 questions, which includes short-answer and multiple-choice type. Refer to table below for more details on it.

Each question carries a weightage of 4 marks; the provision of negative marking is applicable for multiple-choice type questions. For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted. The medium of this entrance exam is English only.
