The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is a state-level entrance examination conducted once a year by the BCECE Board to provide admission to various undergraduate professional courses such as pharmacy, agriculture, and nursing in government and private colleges across the state.
If you are interested in getting admission to an engineering, nursing, pharmacy, or any other professional UG course in the college in Bihar for the academic year 2026-27, you will need to participate in this entrance examination. The cut-off date to calculate the age is December 31, 2026; students who are going to participate in the Class 12 Exam in 2026 are also eligible to participate in this entrance examination.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the BCECE 2026, payment of the application fee is mandatory. To apply for PCM, CBA, PCA, MBA, or CA, you will have to pay an application fee of ₹1,000, while for PCMB, the fee is ₹1,100. The payable amount is half for reserved category candidates.
The PCM stands for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics; CBA for Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture; PCA for Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture; MBA for Mathematics, Biology, Agriculture; CA for Chemistry, Agriculture; and PCMB stands for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology.
Exam Pattern
The BCECE Board will conduct the BCECE 2026 in offline mode, which will consist of multiple-choice questions. Each subject will have a total of 100 questions; the group-wise distribution of questions is shared in the table below.

In this entrance examination, each question will carry 4 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. You will have a total of 90 minutes to solve all the questions for each subject, and the medium will be English and Hindi.

- Upload your photograph and necessary documents in the required size and format.
