Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for the Assam CEE 2026 are made public, check the listed points to find out if you are eligible to apply for this entrance examination.
- You are an Indian citizen, and permanent resident of Assam.
- You have passed the Class 12 Exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a school recognised by the SEBA/CBSE.
Notes:
- Students who are going to participate in the Class 12 Exam are also eligible to apply for the Assam CEE 2026.
- The minimum requirement in the Intermediate for the UR and OBC, MOBC, SC & SC is 45% score and 40% score, respectively.
- It is mandatory that you turn atleast 17 years old as of August 1, 2026; there is upper age limit cap.
Application Fee
If you wish to apply for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026, payment of the application fee is mandatory, regardless of whether you are male or female or belong to any category. You are required to pay ₹1,350 to apply.
Exam Pattern
The ASTU will conduct the Assam CEE 2026 in offline mode with an exam time duration 3 hours. There will be a total number of 120 MCQs from three different subjects, whose details are:

Each question has weightage of 4 marks, and incase of incorrect response 1 mark will be deducted. The medium of this entrance examination is bilingual i.e. English and Assamese.

The ASTU will ask questions in Assam CEE 2026 from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of Class 11 and 12, as per the AHSEC curriculum. The subject-wise syllabus are tabulated below.

How to Apply?
In order to submit an application form for the Assam CEE 2026, the step-by-step instructions are as follows.
- Go to the official website of Assam Science & Technology University at https://astu.ac.in/.
- Find and click on the option that reads ‘Combined Entrance Examination 2026’.
- Tap the ‘New Registration’ button.
- Fill in your Email Address, Mobile Number and other details and click on the Sent OTP button.
- Enter the OTPs received on your mobile number and email address, and click Submit button.
- Login with Email Address and Password, and fill in the application form with personal and educational qualification details.
- Upload documents on required size and format, and ensure to upload clear photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fee with help one of the provided payment gateway, and click on the Submit button to apply online.
