JCECEB ANM GNM is a state-level entrance examination conducted once a year by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board to provide admission to ANM and GNM courses in various nursing colleges of the state.
As in every year, this entrance exam will be conducted in 2026 as well. The notification will be released very soon by the JCECE Board. Here, we have shared the important dates, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and other details.
JCECEB ANM GNM 2026
If you want to get admission to a two-year ANM or three-year GNM course at any private or government nursing college in Jharkhand for the academic year 2026-27, you will need to apply for this exam.
The JCECEB ANM GNM 2026 notification will be released very soon, after which the application form will be available for a total of four weeks, which will be sufficient time for you to submit your application.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the JCECEB ANM GNM 2026 are given below. You can determine whether you are eligible to apply for this entrance examination by reading the following points.
Two-Year ANM
- You are an Indian citizen and a resident of Jharkhand.
- Your age as of December 31, 2026 must be between 17 and 35.
- You must have passed your 12th Examination from a JAC or CBSE affiliated school.
Three-Year GNM
- You are an Indian citizen and a domicile of Jharkhand.
- You have passed the Class 12 Exam with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a CBSE or JAC affiliated school.
- You shouldn’t be below 17 years and above 35 years as of December 31, 2026.
Only female aspirants are eligible to apply for the JCECEB ANM & GNM 2026. Students who are going to participate in the Class 12 Exam for the academic year 2025-26 are also eligible.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the JCECEB ANM GNM 2026, the payment of the application fee is mandatory. Refer to the table below to check what you need to deposit to submit an application form.

It can be paid using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI. Ensure that you pay it by the due date set by the JCECEB, otherwise your application form won’t be accepted for this examination.
Exam Pattern
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board will conduct the JCECEB ANM GNM 2026 in offline mode with an exam time duration of 2 hours. There will be a total number of 100 objective-type questions, whose details are available below.

In this entrance exam, each question carries a weightage of 1 mark and no mark is going to be deducted for incorrect response. The medium of the JCECEB ANM GNM 2026 is both English and Hindi.
