Eligibility Criteria
The CUSAT CAT 2026 eligibility criteria to submit an application form for BTech programme are as follows.
- You are an Indian citizen.
- You have passed the Class 12 Exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with a 50% score.
- There is no age limit.
Individuals who are going to participate in 12th (Intermediate) Exam for the academic year 2025-26 are also eligible.
Application Fee
The CUSAT CAT 2026 application fee is likely to be the same as the previous year, the table below will help you to know what you need to pay in order to apply.

The applicant will have to pay it online using the debit or credit, net banking or UPI. It is non-refundable, which means after paying it you can’t get it back under any circumstances.
Exam Pattern
The CUSAT CAT 2026 will be administered in online mode, in which there will be a total number of 225 multiple-choice questions from three different subjects, whose details can be found from the table below.

Each question carries a weightage of 3 marks, and 1 mark is going to be deducted for incorrect response. The medium of this entrance exam is only English; and to touch the maximum number of questions, each applicant will get 3 hours.
