Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for the Punjab BEd CET 2026 are listed below, go through the following points to check if you can apply for this entrance exam.
- You have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a university or institution recognised by the University Grant Commission or All India Council of Technical Education.
- The minimum requirement in qualifying degree shouldn’t be below 50% score as aggregate; if you belong to any reserved category, you need to 45%.
- There is no age limit to apply for the Punjab BEd Common Entrance Test 2026, whatever your age is, you may apply for it.
- Candidates who are in the final year or semester of the qualifying degree can apply for the Punjab BEd CET 2026, but they have provided the marksheet or certificate in the counselling.
Application Fee
To submit the application form for the Punjab Bachelor’s of Education Common Entrance Test 2026, you will have to pay an application fee of ₹3000. However, if you belong to a reserved category, you will only have to pay ₹1500.
The application fee must be paid online, for which you can use a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Please note that this fee is non-refundable. If you decide not to participate in this entrance exam after submitting your application, you will not be able to get a refund.
Exam Pattern
The GNDU, Amritsar will conduct the Punjab BEd CET 2026 in offline mode, with a duration of 2 hours. It will consist of a total of 150 MCQs from five different sections, details of which are provided in the table given below.
