Application Form
The application form the MH CET Law 2026 is available for three-year and five-year LLB programme from January 8 to 23, 2026, and January 9 to 24, 2026, respectively. You can apply through the State CET Cell, Maharashtra portal.
Exam Date
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra has announced the exam dates for the MH CET Law 2026. This entrance examination for three-year and five-year LLB programmes will take place from 1 to 2 April 2026, and 8 May 2026, respectively.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the MH CET Law 2026, it is mandatory to pay the application fee. Refer to the table below to check what you need to pay to submit an application.

The application fee is non-refundable, it can be paid using the debit card credit card, NET banking or UPI.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for the MH CET Law 2026 for three-year LLB and five-year LLB programme are as follows:
- 3-Year LLB: You have pursued a bachelor’s degree in any subject or stream from an institution recognised by UGC or AICTE.
- 5-Year LLB: You have passed the Class 12 Exam in any stream from a school recognised by the MSBSHSE or CBSE.
Notes:
- There is no age limit to apply online for the MH CET Law 2026 (3-Year LLB and 5-Year LLB).
- If you are in the final year or semester of your Bachelor’s degree you may apply for a three-year LLB; if you are all set to part in the 12th Exam in 2026, you can apply for a five-year LLB.
- The minimum requirement in qualifying degree/exam is 45% for UR; 42% for VJ, NT, OBC and SBC; 40% for ST and SC.
Exam Pattern
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra will conduct the MH CET Law 2026 for three-year LLB and five-year LLB in CBT mode. There will be a total number of 120 MCQs in this entrance examination from different subjects, they are:

It will take place with a time duration of 2 hours for both programmes. The medium is English and Marathi, except for the language section, each question carries a weightage of 1 mark, and there is no provision of negative marking.
How to Apply?
The step-by-step instructions to apply for the MH CET Law 2026 are as follows:
- Visit the official website of the State CET Cell, Maharashtra.
- Click on the ‘CET (Examination) portal for A.Y. 2026-27’ option.
- Click on the Register tab.
- Enter your email address, password, name and date of birth.
- Login to your email address, and check the email received from the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, and click on Verify Email option.
- Now, you have to click on the Proceed to Digilocker tab.
- Fill in your Aadhaar Number and click on the Get OTP button, and then enter the received OTP and tap on the Submit button.
- Login to access the application form, and then fill in all the details. Upload the documents with photographs and signatures.
- Pay the application fee, and then click on the Submit button to apply for this entrance exam.
After applying for the MH CET Law 2026 (three-year or five-year LLB), ensure to take printout for confirmation page.
