Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the DCECE 2026, it is mandatory that you meet the eligibility criteria. Go through the listed points to check if you can apply for this entrance exam for any offered courses.
- Polytechnic Engineering: You have passed the Matriculation from a school recognised by the CBSE or BSEB.
- Paramedical – Matric Level: You have passed the Class 10 Exam from a CBSE or BSEB recognized school.
- Para Medical – Intermediate Level: You have passed the Intermediate exam with PCB or PCM from a CBSE or BSEB recognized school.
There is no age limit to apply for the DCECE 2026. Candidates who are going to participate in the qualifying exam (Class 10/12) in the year 2026.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the DCECE 2026, the payment of the application fee is mandatory. Make sure you deposit the required amount by the due date, whose details are as follows.

Exam Pattern
The BCECE Board will conduct the DCECE 2026 in offline mode using the OMR sheet with an exam time duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes.
There will be a total number of 120, 100 and 80 objective-type questions for polytechnic engineering, Paramedical – Matric Level and Para Medical – Intermediate Level, whose details are as follows:

Each question carries a weightage of 5 marks, and 1 mark is going to be deducted for each incorrect response. The medium of the exam will be English and Hindi.
